Kentucky Employers’ Mutual Insurance (KEMI) does not have contractual agreements with agencies. Any agent or nonresident agent licensed and in good standing with the commonwealth of Kentucky may submit an application on behalf of a client. To obtain a nonresidence license, please contact the Kentucky Department of Insurance at 1-800-595-6053.
To be established as an agency with KEMI, please complete the Agency Internal Setup Form (for new agencies) available on KEMI.com. Go to Agents > Agent Forms > Other or click here.
Agents without a Kentucky license or nonresident license may assist their clients in completing the application. However, the coverage would be written through KEMI Direct, and agents would not receive commission. If you would like to assist clients through KEMI Direct, please contact us.
