KEMI will not provide written notice to the certificate holder if the policy cancels before the expiration date. The certificate shall not impose any obligation or liability of any kind upon KEMI or its representatives. The certificate is valid only at the time it is issued.

You can sign up to receive cancellation notifications on the Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims (DWC) website since KEMI reports all cancellations to the DWC.

To receive a cancellation notification, go to https://kyworkersclaims.lms.ky.gov/CoverageLookup and enter search information. Click on the green “Search” button, and once the policy is located, click on the green “Select” button in the "Notification" column. A message will appear near the top of the screen instructing you on how to complete your subscription for cancellation notification of this policy.
